Profile

Desire M. K. Ayite is a computer science educationist that is enthused about the contribution of emerging technologies in education. I am passionate about working collaboratively with colleagues to bring about the best performance in learners by integrating technological tools in the teaching and learning process. Also, I have conducted research in areas of technology use in education.

In addition, I have interest in conducting research in the implementation of machine learning to cloud learning, predicting the effectiveness of cloud learning using machine learning among others. I am zealous about how to collaborate with others to research into the effective ways of using IT tools to predict events in education, health, social issues, technology adoption. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD in Information Technology.

Further, I serve as the Head of ICT at the Kibi Presbyterian College of Education overseeing the deployment and maintenance of ICT tools to aid in the smooth running of academic and other curricula activities, making recommendations to the management, and monitoring of IT infrastructure on campus.

  • Date: 7th January, 2020 – Venue: University Basic School – North Campus (UCC)Developing test items. In this workshop, we took teachers through the rules in setting objective test items such as multiple-choice questions, constructed response etc.
