Profile

I believe that everyone can learn mathematics but to varying degrees. This informs the approaches I employ in the classroom. In my classroom, learners must be guided to construct their own learning through the provision of hands- on and minds-on activities that elicit new concepts to hinge on already conceived ideas. The idea used links directly with constructivism and a kind of behaviorism as individual learners must personally show understanding by demonstration.
