Samuel Yakubu Gariba is an Agricultural Science Tutor who teaches courses like Integrated pest management (IPM), Rural Sociology & Agricultural Extension, Agric Value Chain, Agricultural Entrepreneurship, Crop production and so on in the Department of Science at the Kibi Presbyterian College of Education in the Eastern region of Ghana. He is a PhD candidate (Seed Science & Technology from the University of Cape – Coast, Ghana. He holds an MPhil degree in Seed Science & Technology from the West Africa Centre for Crop Improvement (WACCI), University of Ghana, Legon. He obtained his First degree in Agricultural Technology (BSc. Agronomy option), from the University for Development Studies, Tamale-Ghana. He also had his teacher Education at the Presbyterian College of Education (PCE), Akropong-Akuapem. His research interest includes Seed Science & technology, Crop Protection, Integrated Pest Management, Post-harvest, Biopesticide production (Botanicals).
GARIBA has been a professional teacher for nearly two decades. He also teaches Agricultural Science courses like Introductory Agriculture, Intermediate Agriculture 1, II, III, Advanced Agriculture I, II & III at the University of Cape-Coast College of Distance Education (CoDE) since 2014. He was a supervisor of Sandwich Students Offering BEd. Early Childhood Education, Primary & JHS Programmes for Off-Campus Teaching practice organised by Institute of Education at the University of Cape-Coast (February –April, 2022) in Accra Metro & Korle-Klottey Municipal. He is a member of Ghana Association of Science Teachers (Gast) and Agricultural Educators’ Trainers Association Ghana (AETAG).
